Most of the following information (Trelease, George, Knight and May families) was received from Otto Palfenier, Alberta, Canada who answered a query I had posted regarding May families in Cornwall, England. As with all the information on my genealogy pages, some may yet to be confirmed or may not be accurate.
The early history of the Treweek family in Cornwall, beginning with John Trewike (died 1512) together with additional information down to my original starting point of Ann (christened 1683) was supplied by Martin Raper who is a descendant of the Treweek family.
John Trewike
John was born in Truro, Cornwall, England and died in 1512. John married Mary ST AUBYN in 1475 Mary was a daughter of Thomas ST AUBYN. Children included Margaret born 1480 and John who died in 1498.
John died in 1498. Children included Richard born 1485.
Richard was born in 1485. Children included Robert born 1525.
Robert was born in 1525 in St Stithians, Cornwall and died in 1563 in Bodmin, Cornwall.

Henry who died in 1610. He married Isabell (surname unknown)
Mary who married John GLYNN in 1575 in St Mabyn, Cornwall.
Elizabeth who married Nicholas BROWN in 1577 in St Mabyn, Cornwall.

John born 1550. He married in 1575 (spouse unknown) and died in 1614.
John was born in 1550 and died in 1614.

George born in 1593 in Joone, Cornwall.
Hugh was born in 1590. He married Sara BEAUCHAMP in 1613 in Camborne, Cornwall. Sara was born in 1593 and was the daughter of William BEAUCHAMP and Joan TUBB.

Francis born 1617 and died 1619.
John born 1618. Children included -

George was born in 1593 in Joone, Cornwall. He married Joone POLKINHORN in 1626 in Illogan, Cornwall.
