Vitus Wenzlick
Vitus (Veit) was born around 1639 in Schlowitz, Bohemia. His father's name was Matthaus or Matthias WENZLICK. Vitus married Ann (maiden name unknown) about 1665. He died on 31 January 1693/94 in Schlowitz.
Laurenz was the son of Vitus and Ann and was born on 6 August 1670 in Schlowitz, Bohemia and died on 3 May 1717 in Schlowitz. Laurenz married Dorothea SINGER on 6 November 1692 in Schlowitz . Dorothea was born on the 28 March 1668 also in Schlowitz, and was the daughter of Michael and Anna SINGER. She died on 16 May 1744 in Schlowitz.

Georg born 24 April 1700.
Veit born 6 June 1702.
Matthias born 17 February 1705/06 in Schlowitz, Bohemia.
Matthias was born on 17 February 1705/06 in Schlowitz, Bohemia and was the fifth son of Laurenz and Dorothea. Matthias died on 15 June 1770 in Schlowitz, Bohemia. Matthias married Eva VIDE about 1733 and they had ten children. Eva was born around 1714 and died on 23 April 1782 in Schlowitz.

1. Simon born 18 September 1734 in Schlowitz, Bohemia. He married Ludmilla KOPERA and children included -
- Laurenz born 19 February 1774.
- Johann born 10 August 1775.
- Norbert Adalbert born 6 September 1777 in Schlowitz. He married Anna EBERL on 3 February 1807 in Littitz, Bohemia and they raised four sons - Mikal born 1807, Johann born 1812, Josef born 1815 and Anton born 1821.

- Simon born in 1779 in Schlowitz. He married Margaret EBERL and their son Martin was born in 1817.

Simon's second marriage was to Suzanne HESS. He died in 1779.
2. Peter born 11 May 1736 in Schlowitz, Bohemia and died on 14 September 1818 in Preheischen, Bohemia. Peter married Janota WALBURGA on 2 November 1768 in Preheischen. Janota was born on 10 September 1749 in Blatnitz, Bohemia and died on 24 March 1814 in Preheischen. Their son Simon was born in 1771.

3. Bernard born 26 December 1742 and died on 15 March 1812. Bernard married Veronika KLANDY in Weingierl and children included -
- Martin born 11 November 1783. He married Rosina KRAUS in Littitz, Bohemia. Rosina was born in 1794 and died in 1846. Martin died in 1850. Their children included -
+ Johannes born 1807. Johannes settled in Milwaukee, USA around April 1850. He died in 1891.
+ Katherine born 1808. She also settled in Milwaukee, USA around April 1850.
+ Peter born 1814. Peter settled in St Louis, USA around July 1849. He died in 1893.
+ Magdalena born about 1816. She also settled in St Louis, USA around July 1849. Magdalena died in 1894.

- Johann born 9 December 1794. He married Marie NARR on 3 November 1812 in Schlowitz, Bohemia and children included -

+ Johann born 6 July 1834. Johann married Katharina MEISSNER on 27 January 1857 and they later settled in New Zealand. Katharina was born in Holleischen, Austria.

8. Florian born 16 June 1753 and died died on 13 February 1823. Florian married Maria DANZK and children included -

- Josef born 2 April 1817. He married Katharina PFRAGNER in January 1844. Children included -
+ Johann born 21 June 1849. Johann married Dorothea SPILLER in Schlowitz, Bohemia on 10 February 1874. He died on 21 April 1926.
+ Josef born 3 December 1854. He married Margaret GREIF in 1879.

Mikal was born in November 1807, the first son of Norbert and Anna EBERL. He died in 1852. Mikal married Anna SCHUSSER on 11 August 1834 in Littitz, Bohemia. Anna was born on 18 June 1809 in Littitz.
Children of Mikal and Anna :
Johannes Nepomuk born 30 April 1836 in Littitz, Bohemia. Johannes married Anna PLESCHER on 6 October 1858 in Littitz, Bohemia. Anna was born on 22 December 1836 in Elhoten 10, Bohemia and died on 28 June 1901 in Puhoi. They were both buried at Puhoi Cemetery.
Johannes (John) and Anna with sons, Vincent and Johann, arrived in New Zealand on 5 March 1866 on the "Liverpool" and settled in Puhoi, north of Auckland. They had a further six children after arriving in New Zealand - Martin, Michael, Anna, Mary, Margaret and Joseph.
Johannes died on 1 January 1914 in Puhoi and Anna died on 28 June 1901 in Puhoi. They were both buried at the Puhoi Cemetery.
Gregorius Johannes born 26 October 1839 in Littitz, Bohemia. Gregorius also arrived in New Zealand on 5 March 1866 on the "Liverpool".
Gregorius (Gregory) married Maria Theresa Schott on 31 March 1869 in Thames and also raised a large family of twelve children. Maria was born in 1847 in Pilsen, Bohemia and was the daughter of Matthias and Anna SCHOTT. Gregory died on 26 April 1914 at Tapu, Thames and Maria died on 11 December 1934 in Auckland. They were both buried at Tapu Cemetery, Thames Coast.

Johann was born on 29 August 1812. He was the second son of Norbert WENZLICK and Anna EBERL.
I believe Johann had a daughter Mary born 1833 in Bohemia. She came to New Zealand in 1866 and married Martin RAUNER on 4 September 1867 in Puhoi, North Auckland. Mary died on 10 September 1904 and was buried at Puhoi Cemetery.
Josef was the third son of Norbert and Anna EBERL. He was born on 14 February 1815. Josef married Anna BARAN on 13 February 1838.
Children of Josef and Anna :
Adalbert born 23 September 1839 in Littitz, Bohemia. He arrived in New Zealand on the ship "Queen Bee" on 29 October 1872. His occupation was a tailor. He married Annie REMIGER on 17 June 1879 at St Patricks Catholic Church in Auckland. Their children included -
- Annie born 1879 in Dargaville, North Auckland. She did not marry.
- Elizabeth who's married name was RUSSEK.
- Joe who died not marry.
- John Albert born 1885. I believe John had a son Henry John Albert.
- Mary who married Albert Henry BILLINGS. Children included Eileen, Bernard and Doreen.
- Tom who did not marry.
Anna born 10 September 1842 in Littitz, Bohemia. She arrived in New Zealand on the ship "Liverpool" on Liverpool on 6 March 1866. Anna married Wenzl Bayer on 20 June 1867 in Puhoi, North Auckland and they had eight children. Wenzl was born on 21 May 1836 and was the son of Adalbert BAYER and Barbara REISIMA.For more information about Wenzl, his ancestors and descendants, please refer to the link at the bottom of this page.
Vincent born 29 December 1847. He married Magdalena FLEIDL on 12 July 1870 and children included a son Josef born in 1877 in Littitz, Bohemia.
Anton was born on 26 May 1821 and was the youngest son of Norbert and Anna EBERL. He died in 1893 in Prague.
Martin was the son of Simon WENZLICK and Margaret EBERL. He was born in 1817 in Schlowitz, Bohemia. Martin married Elizabeth SPILLER. He died in 1878 in Iowa, USA.
Martin and Elizabeth had a daughter Mary Magdalene who was born in Liititz, Bohemia in 1854. She married Joseph STENGEL in Iowa, USA around 1891 and she died there in 1923.
Simon was the son of Peter WENZLICK and Janota WALBURGA and was born in 1771 in Preheischen, Bohemia. He died on 23 November 1829 in Preheischen.
Simon married Maria SEEBERGER on 5 September 1799 in Preheischen, Bohemia. Children included -
- Jakob born 7 June 1803 in Preheischen and died 26 August 1832 in Novy, Bohemia. Jakob's son Gabriel was born in 1829 in Novy, Bohemia and in 1863 he immigrated to the United States of America and settled in Ohio. Gabriel later lived in Michigan and it was there he died in 1893.
- Andreas born 28 November 1808 in Preheischen, Bohemia. He married Elizabeth Magdalena SCHIEFER who was born on 29 October 1808 in Bohemia. Children included -
+ Barbara born 28 October 1833 and died 11 November 1833 in Preheischen, Bohemia.

Margaret born 11 February 1835 in Prehieschen. She married Anthony MARTIN. Margaret died in 1891 in Ohio, USA.
+ Matthaus born 6 April 1838 and died 15 December 1842 in Prehieschen.

Barbara born 17 December 1839 in Prehieschen. She married Peter RUBECK on 20 November 1860 in Ohio, USA.
+ Mary born 18 July 1842 in Prehieschen. She married Martin DURNWALD on 11 November 1865 in Ohio, USA. Mary died on 5 February 1905 in Crawford County, Ohio.

Bartholomew born 20 November 1844 in Prehieschen. He married Margaret RUBELICK on 26 January 1869 in Ohio, USA. Bartholomew died on 19 September 1901 in Putman County, Ohio.
+ Anna born 6 July 1847 in Prehieschen. She married Thomas NEDOLAST on 26 January 1869 in Ohio, USA. Anna died in 1918 in Ohio.
