CINEMA 4D CITYGEN
I second that request. Whenever the mograph module crashes, and that’s sometimes ten times a day, I think back to his name attached to its coding. Posted October 17, CityGen is so useful, and seems well along the way… thanks. Posted September 27, Also found out that the textures you assign in the material slots of the different types of objects are a bit offset, with negative values for Y. Any chance on some tips for how you got that gorgeous scene??
Maybe someone could port this: Think it would work for long distance scenes!? Posted July 1, Posted October 16, edited. CityGen is still one of the most impressive plugs I’ve seen for C4D. How did you texture all that? I just installed it in Cinema 4D R
No secret–he was definitely involved. Posted October 18, How about the Blender CityGen: Houdini has some awesome city gene tools. I second that request.
Icnema, the vast majority of C4D developers are damn awesome. Whew, I got off lightly! I’m not fond of Paul’s attitude about all this stuff either. But they did show up and light a portion of the city. Already have an account?

I would ask for the crashreports. If there was anyone I wouldn’t 4f working at Maxon, it’d be that guy. I just installed it in Cinema 4D R Posted October 16, edited.

Like many, I supported his work and he bailed Oh, time to dig out an old scene I did for my demoreel a while back. Now he gives curt, downright rude answers to people who ask about his support going forward. You make cimema look like playdough.
The windows on the foreground building especially look really great.
I am just testing it with lights as objects for the slots of Street Lamps. Thanks for the info!

I ended up building my own buildings anyway, or reworking whatever buildings it gave me. Higher cineka are need for up close work. In a GOOD way.
Any chance on some tips for how you got that gorgeous scene?? CityGen is so useful, and seems well along the way… thanks. So I save often and always before doing some major move! Cities, nature, futuristic, etc I always thought that was some of the coolest, most impressive work one could do in Cinema 4d.
Posted July 2, So there has to be something else to drag in there.
Posted October 16, Cool way to get that citgen in place. CityGen is still one of the most impressive plugs I’ve seen for C4D. Not sure if i’ll use it but will have a play: Wow, that is awesome Janine. Posted October 17, Even though I’ve never really used it for anything, it’s just a great implementation of the idea. Also had some C4D 8. I ran the plug once and saw the results, changed a few things then got back to work.
